Hurray! We can litterpick again. Get ready to tidy! |
Volunteer eventMonthly Litterpick![]() 10am, Saturday, 10 April 2021It’s been a long year since Abney Park User Group’s litterpickers have been out in force. Still not the most exciting job in the world, but as we all know, it’s a really useful and sociable way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday morning … and there’ll no doubt be a lot of leftovers in the park. Join us if you can to enjoy the spring flowers while we work. Obviously we’ll still be observing social distancing and all the ongoing precautions, so please bring your mask and your own outer gloves or, if you don’t have those, maybe some ‘marigolds’ to go under the Abney gloves. (We’ll have some on site in case you can’t find any.) Wear tough shoes too, not your new white trainers! We’ll have sanitised the tools but it would be useful if you can bring your own pen to sign in. People can work as usual in small groups. It will be great to see some old and hopefully some new faces. See you at the front of the Stoke Newington High Street entrance at 10am on Saturday 10 April. Abney Park litterpicks take place on the second Saturday of the month. Meet at the main entrance on Stoke Newington High Street. Come join us!Contact us |
