Dear young people of Hackney,
We are writing to you at a very difficult time for our community, the UK and the world.
Even though things aren’t normal at the moment, and they often feel uncertain, everyone has a part to play in helping life to continue. This includes you all continuing to learn.
This will be a challenging year, and we know that it will be an anxious time for many, but the whole of Hackney is proud of you.
We look forward to seeing you very soon.

This is an extremely overwhelming and confusing time for many of Hackney’s young people.
We’re aware that it may be hard for them to understand the current situation and the breadth and depth of the news they may come across both on TV and social media. To help with this we have created a page on our website which we hope will prove useful.
We are on hand to support parents and carers in providing fun, educational and interactive online activities.
This newsletter will be sent out weekly to highlight some of these virtual activities. However for daily updates please follow us @younghackney on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
