When life’s a drag, enter La Cage aux Folles
opening next week…

St. Tropez is calling: don’t miss out on an exceptional evening of entertainment, glitter and fabulousness.
Performed for the first time in the English language, the original play that inspired four blockbuster films and a Tony Award-winning musical, opens next week in Park200. One of the largest scale shows in Park Theatre’s history, it’s a theatrical spectacle not to be missed.
Nightclub owner Georges (Michael Matus) and his dazzling drag artiste partner Albin (Paul Hunter) create the most spectacular shows in St. Tropez. But when Georges’ son Laurent announces his engagement to the daughter of a notoriously right-wing politician determined to bring the curtain down on the town’s vibrant nightlife, the real performance begins.
As Georges and Albin attempt to conceal their true nature for the sake of their son, how long can the façade last?
With a new adaptation by Simon Callow and direction from Park Theatre’s Artistic Director Jez Bond, La Cage aux Folles will shake and move you in every way.
“A rampant farce, and utterly life-affirming” Simon Callow

Corpse!
By Gerald Moon
Directed by Clive Brill
Plays: 04 – 28 Mar
Immerse yourself in this “old but gold” whodunnit classic with enough comedy and suspense to keep you on your toes even after the show.
Evelyn Farrant – actor – is exceedingly poor.
Rupert Farrant – his twin – is excessively rich.
There seems to be only one solution. Evelyn must kill Rupert and inherit his wealth.
Don’t miss out on a major revival of this brilliant comedy thriller which has had successful runs in the West End, Broadway and has played across the globe. From the producer of last year’s sell-out success, Black Chiffon.

Clybourne Park
By Bruce Norris
Directed by Oliver Kaderbhai
Plays: 25 Mar – 02 May
In 1959, Russ and Bev are moving to the suburbs after the tragic death of their son and have sold their house to the neighbourhood’s first black family.
Decades later, the roles are reversed when a young white couple buys the lot in what is now a predominantly black neighbourhood, signalling a new wave of gentrification…
Winner of both the Tony and Olivier Award for Best Play and the Pulitzer Prize for author Bruce Norris, Clybourne Park is a razor-sharp satire about the politics of race and real estate. Following a successful sell-out run at the Royal Court and in the West End, this acclaimed play is a timely revival, relevant to those residing in diverse neighbourhoods.
“Norris’s play nails the thorny subject of race relations with a bilious zest that takes one’s breath away.” The Guardian
