Type Tasting and open studios at the Chocolate Factory : 30th Nov/1st December

Hello, I was in balmy L.A. last week having created an immersive multisensory typography experience for Adobe Fonts at Adobe MAX. It was an exciting week and really interesting to talk to so many people and to see how they responded to the experience. This has taken me one step closer to my dream of creating a full-scale multisensory typography exhibition.

Sarah Hyndman: “Typography can be a tool for positive change”

There, she has designed a multisensory installation in which she asks participants to associate the smell, sound, taste and feel of five different typefaces.

“I’ve had a lot of people asking: ‘what on Earth are you doing?’” she says. “But then I’ve got that with most of my work. People have to take part in it before they get it.”
