Readings : “Stoke Newington Bookshop” on Monday 13th May.

We have two new novelists reading from their ‘hot off the press novels’ published by the enterprising indie publisher Bluemoose Books.

Come along and listen to these two authors read from and talk about their books as well as hearing from Kevin Duffy of Bluemoose talk about supporting new talent.

*Deirdre Shanahan will talk about her novel, Caravan of the Lost and Left Behind. It is the hauntingly moving story of Eva, a former Irish traveller.

*Ariel Kahn will introduce his novel, Raising Sparks. Before becoming an academic, Ariel was in training to be a Rabbi in Jerusalem and the novel draws on the complex and fascinating world of the Ultra-orthodox Jewish community.
