Welcome to the OTO Member’s Mailout.
Thanks to the support of Jerwood Charitable Foundation we are delighted to announce three new residencies for UK-Based artists/groups at a vital point in their creative development this week: Still House Plants, Nkisi, and Angharad Davies. Our residency programmes offer artists the opportunity to work in close collaboration with us to develop and present new work, work in cross-artforms, collaborate with other artists, present discursive/critical events and curate other thought-provoking performances across consecutive days in the space.
Two extraordinary debut 7″ from Penultimate Press up on the site this week. One from London’s much talked about Triple Negative and another from Manchester’s elusive Parlours. Both brilliant. For those of you who are UK based, heads up that Triple Negative will be making an appearance at Counterflows festival this April and it’s likely to be extraordinary. The Glasgow festival runs between the 4th and 7th April and the lineup includes Mohammad Reza Mortazavi, Ailie Ormston & Tim Fraser, Nicole Mitchell, Tomeka Reid & Alexander Hawkins, Mark Sanders, the music of Bill Wells and Brazil’s MC Carol.
We look forward to seeing you here.
