DERYA YILDIRIM & GRUP ŞIMŞEK – TWO-DAY RESIDENCY

The Anatolian Psych-pop sensation are back for a two-day residency after their sold out show at OTO earlier in the year. Grup Şimşek take the righteous and rich Turkish poetry to the future without losing awareness of the past.

NICOLE MITCHELL / ALEXANDER HAWKINS / TOMEKA REID TRIO – TWO-DAY RESIDENCY

Vital two-day residency from the transatlantic trio of Nicole Mitchell (flute), Tomeka Reid (cello) and Alexander Hawkins (piano) – operating in and around the worlds of free-jazz, composition, improvisation and experimental music.

Always a pleasure to welcome back the one and only Diane Cluck. The Virginia-based singer-songwriter of intuitive folk music has been influential in the development of the Anti-folk scene and her performances here over the years have always been very special. We’re looking forward to hosting two shows in one day.

MARC RIBOT – TWO DAY RESIDENCY

The great guitarist Marc Ribot makes a welcome return to OTO for another hotly anticipated couple of nights of solo performance, weaving a sonic matrix of memory, free improvisation, zeitgeist, extra-terrestrial radio signals, and much more.

7–10 MAY
JOE MCPHEE – FOUR-DAY RESIDENCY

This very special residency draws together the various strands of Joe’s incredibly diverse, ever-curious sonic approach, with a jam-packed line-up of collaborators old and new. Even across four nights it’s hard to do justice to the scale of his musical output but what’s guaranteed is that each of these nights will be unmissable in its own way.
