A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Hackney.
Police were called at approximately 08:16hrs on Sunday, 18 March to reports of a person found with stab wounds, on Towpath Walk, E9.
Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service.
A man, aged 42, was found with multiple injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at 08:45hrs.
Police are in the process of informing his next of kin.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to a north London police station for questioning.
Enquiries continue. A crime scene remains in place.
The Homicide and Major Crime Command are leading the investigation.
