Old Fire Station community classes re-start on September 11th!
Love the idea of yoga, yet can’t face the idea of committing yourself just yet, or just daunted by the idea of walking into a busy studio full of amazing yogis!* Try a friendly, local class at the welcoming community centre within the historic Old Fire Station building on Leswin Road, N16. Students are all levels, ages, shapes and sizes! Some have been coming along since classes started several years ago and are perfecting their ability to balance upside down, while some find it hard enough to balance the right way up! All enjoy challenges and modifications to suit them, wherever they are on their yoga journey. All mats and props provided.
*Trust me, they are not all full of amazing yogis, and after you have been practicing for a while, you will be confident going to classes anywhere!
Just because you are expecting a baby does not mean you have to miss out on your yoga! I have a new Friday night class at Yoga Junction, Crouch End, N8, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Whether you are new to yoga or have/had a yoga practice before pregnancy, you will enjoy a creative combination of yoga postures, breath work and relaxation technique to help keep you energised, yet calm. Pregnancy yoga is designed to help alleviate some of the common discomforts that can creep in during pregnancy, with tips for breathing and relaxation techniques and postures useful in labour, as well as throughout pregnancy. It’s the perfect way to start the weekend.
Small group flow
Don’t fancy yoga with a crowd? I run Thursday evening, small group 6-week yoga courses at the Secret Studio, Stoke Newington. Maximum 5 people. Friendly and geared to the individual. Contact me if you are interested.
