Lordship Park residents have been agitating for action on fast moving traffic and increasing volume over the last few years. Meanwhile Manor Road residents are worried about dangerous parking and loading in Manor Parade.
Today Coucillor Sales of Stamford Hill West and five Council officers attended a meeting of concerned residents to discuss the situation. Preliminary suggestions were a new loading bay and increased enforcement at Manor Parade and traffic calming measures and improvements to pedestrian crossings in Lordship Park.
In addition the adoption of a right hand turn at Manor house was canvassed but this will be unlikely until Seven Sisters Road is narrowed.
Any measures adopted will be dependent on funding so probably not before April 2018
