At the Arcola

Opening tonight: our major new production of The Lower Depths

From Helena Kaut-Howson, acclaimed director of Platanov / Sons Without Fathers, Yerma, Innocence and Uncle Vanya
In the next half-hour, our Revolution Ensemble will step out on stage for the first performance of The Lower Depths.

Visceral, fierce, stark and often funny, Maxim Gorky‘s masterpiece pushes at the limits of the human spirit and reveals a society at breaking point.

Check out some of our favourite moments from rehearsals in the photo gallery, and snap up the last £12 tickets of this week.
