Open House London
Sunday 18 September
Clissold House will be open to the public on Sunday as part of Open House London.
Come and look at the House in a new way – join our guided tours at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm to find out more about the history of the house and the origins of your favourite park.
At 2pm and 3pm the park user group’s resident historian, Amir Dotan, will be presenting the recently discovered and remarkable archive created by Joseph Beck who campaigned tirelessly for four years to save the land the park now stands on and create the park (despite losing part of his tongue!)
Free and open to all. House open 1pm to 4pm, last entry 3.30pm.
Call for help: we need some volunteers to welcome people into the house. All we need is an hour of your time between 1pm and 4pm. Please let us know if you are interested in helping.
