From Friday

Hail, Caesar! (12A)

Hollywood in the early 50s is the setting for the latest Coen Brothers delight. With Josh Brolin, George Clooney,  Scarlett Johansson , Tilda Swinton  and Ralph Fiennes, HAIL, CAESAR is an affectionate tribute to Hollywood’s Golden Age, when dreams were manufactured as well as lived.
“The Coens give us scene after scene of transcendent screen craft… a second visit is a must, to solve the riddle at the film’s core and for purposes of pure pleasure.”  5/5 stars – Little White Lies

Saturday 5 March at 11am

Belle and Sebastian (PG)

In French with English sub-titles

High up in the French Alps and far away from the fighting of the Second World War, a small, peaceful village is home to young orphan Sebastian. Two events change his life: he encounters Belle, a large wild mountain dog with a heart of gold, tames her and so an unshakable friendship is formed. Then outside events begin to threaten the peace of the village. Based on the much-loved classic children’s novel by Cécile Aubry, this is a visually stunning heartfelt family drama.
