At the GreenHouse

Beyond the roses and boxes of assorted chocolates…

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP
MONTH!

We’ve all had quite a stressful time getting through the January blues, bending or breaking our resolutions within a few days of setting them or torturing ourselves through dry Jan, whilst doing our best to keep motivated and working – yep, it’s been tough!
So, if you are a current tenant of ours, an ex tenant or a tenant to be, join us TODAY the 11th to celebrate the shortest month of the year, international friendship month over some pizza and beer here at the Greenhouse N16.

Member’s Spotlight

Meet Patrick Mccool
Director of Make My Home Green
“The UK has the oldest, coldest homes in Europe. We want to fix that. We bring expert knowledge on how to install insulation properly, avoiding the poor choice of materials used by standard builders that results in poor performance and can in some cases damage the building. We focus on using natural materials where possible…”

“Our works also saves energy, tackling the problems of energy security and climate change. The solutions we provide are part of the energy strategy that the UK needs to adopt on a large scale to provide better living standards in a moder sustainable world. So we are working to make your home better and the world you live in.”

“A shared office allows us to be closer to other teams of people who can help us with specific services, e.g. web design – thank you Kirby de Costa for our new website! A shared office space reduces our costs for essential servces such as printing. We get 24 hours access, 7 days a week which is very helpful. We also enjoy the craic! We are a small company, so being in a shared office space gives us access to the great community of people at The GreenHouse. This makes work more fun and more enjoyable. Plus the extra curricular classes such as yoga are great. Not to mention Tom’s great food in the cafe. It’s worth being here for alll these extras that we wouldn’t have in an office of our own.”

 A special shout out to…
Seed Media

We witness this continuously growing team working hard at the Greenhouse N16 everyday – so! we wanted to give them a little congratulatory shout out in our newsletter and tell us a few things about themselves and their latest job – the Brit Awards 2016! Here’s a short word from them:
“Seed Media is an influencer marketing technology which tracks peer to peer interactions through multiple layers across multiple social media platforms.  Seed will connect all your existing sites, which are after all people, – databases mailing lists, streaming and social sites via a community and track the people that LIKE you and hand you the data.
We can see what people are doing for you in their own private networks talking to their friends, in their own voice.   We can see who ‘clicks’, ‘shares’ and then, and this is the important part, which of their friends do the same…and so on and so on, many layers deep.  We incentivise people to spread the word by rewarding them via campaigns in a community, kind of like an online street team using social word of mouth.
Seed is working with The BRITs and The BPI powering the MyBRITs community site where people can win tickets to go to the BRIT AWARDS show and see the likes of Adele, Justine Bieber and Rihanna”
