“The stars move still, time runs, the clock will strike,
The devil will come, and Faustus must be damned.”

After last year’s sell out production of William Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’, Pandemonium Performance return to Abney Park with a new production of ‘Doctor Faustus’ by Christopher Marlowe.

This classic play tells the tale of Faustus, a man whose thirst for knowledge drives him to make a pact with Lucifer. In exchange for his immortal soul, he will receive the services of the devil Mephistopheles for 24 years.

Time passes quickly and soon Faustus will have to pay his debt….

Directed by Paul Linghorn, this 90 minute promenade performance re-tells Marlowe’s greatest play in stunning open air surroundings.

Abney Park, in Stoke Newington, is one of the ‘magnificent seven’ garden cemeteries of London. It is a woodland memorial park and Local Nature Reserve.
