Ryan’s Bar Open Mic is back with another feature evening this April! Last months poetical feature went down a treat, Liam Mac An Phearsúin was a powerhouse, so a massive thank you to him.
With all the sunshine we are a little late in getting this event page made up but here it is…
This month we have a musical feature, someone who began frequenting the night late last year, someone who is moving toward big things and catching the eyes and ears of all who hear him play…
LEWIS BOOTLE – Lewis Bootle – BootyTunes
The artist also known as Booty Tunes, Lewis Bootle will treat us to a heavy dose of his soulfully quick lyricism backed by his knack with a loop pedal; working infections guitar hooks and percussive use of the body to create mellow and moving tracks.
He has recently done a video for Ont’ Sofa which is racking up the views and his Soundcloud demos are so infections you’ll have earworms for weeks…
Most importantly of course, it’s open mic! Lot’s of slots available on the night, sign up from 7.30pm, start 8.30pm.
We welcome music of all shapes and sizes, comedy, poetry and spoken word and all in between!
If you have any questions please get in touch via the open mic page orTom Nash – poetry – he’s your host for the evening!
See you all there.
