NT Live: The Hard Problem (12A)

This typically witty return to the National Theatre for playwright Tom Stoppard (Shakespeare in Love, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead), delights in the slippery nature of language and pulses with interesting ideas. If there is nothing but matter, what is consciousness? This is ‘the hard problem’ which puts Hilary at odds with her colleagues. Meanwhile she needs a miracle, and is prepared to pray for one.
