Choir at the Castle

Are you a shower singer? Or love to sing from the rooftops? Either way join us!

We are a small community choir where voices of all shapes and sizes are welcome.  We meet Monday nights from 7pm – 8.30pm at the Castle Climbing Centre, Green Lanes, Stoke Newington, N4 2HA  (Training Room 3) to explore voice, harmony and learn great a cappella songs from around the world by ear.

First session is free to get a taste of what we do and sessions are drop in, so you don’t have to commit to the whole term.  After that it is £6 or Castle members are just £5.  You will feel great!

About me

I am a self proclaimed singing addict who believes that singing is for everyone – I think that we can all enjoy the many benefits that singing has to offer regardless of musical ability or background. Singing is great on so many levels, for your wellbeing, breathing, connection with others and of course enjoyment.  Currently I lead the Castle Choir, and am section lead for the altos at Shakti Sings (an environmental choir that sing at Glastonbury) and recently I lead Winter Pop Up Choir, in Bethnal Green.

    1. Hello Tula
This is a running blog – there is no attempt to keep things up to date! However the group still appears to be “live” on their facebook page although the last post is from May 2019. you could also try the “Old Church” which I think has a choir.
      best wishes
