Tomorrow evening there’s a public meeting to discuss Stoke Newington
High Street.
The meeting has been called by the Stoke Newington Central ward forum.
Issues on the agenda include:
– The one-way system
– Keeping the pavements clean and obstacle-free
– Noise and anti-social behaviour from pubs and clubs
– Street drinking
– Cycling on the pavement
Invited speakers will give their views on regeneration issues; transport
and what makes a ‘healthy street’; and night time economy/environment
issues. Following that there will be an open debate.
All are welcome.
So that’s tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd April, 7pm, at St Paul’s Church hall,
Stoke Newington Road (corner of Amhurst Road).
